Darel had a good day yesterday.  The day included a ride to Corinth for propane and a prescription with a stop at the Creamery.
Still snowing.  Even though it may not amount too much a snow in April is depressing.  Especially with tomorrow's cold, windy forecast.  The plants all made it through Tuesday so they should be ok tomorrow night.  The wind racked the back room enough so Andrew had to do some repairs last night.  Tuesday's winds were just the last straw for it, we've had so much wind this year.  He had to do some work on the hoop house when they recovered it.   The hoop house is dry, waiting for flowers to be moved in Saturday.  They will be covered with remay and the propane heater will be in there for cold nights.  Marigolds and peppers are waiting to take their place in the big greenhouse.
The very large flock of grackles has moved on.  There are plenty of stragglers left to empty the bird feeders.  Juncos and nut hatches are joining the other birds.  A busy back yard.  Starting this Sunday I 'm hoping I can spend Sunday afternoons working in that garden.  Looking at the forecast I can clean out the pond (an old maple syrup pan) Sunday.  The ice hasn't gone out of the garden pond yet.
I slept late this morning.  I was very tied last night.  Even though i sept Tuesday night my mind was on the cold winds and dropping temperatures.  Despite the weather i'm electing to have a good day and hope yours is good too, Sally
