Darel had a quiet and comfortable day yesterday.
Not very good walking yesterday as the snow melted But there are lots of bare spots on the driveway. The sun kept the greenhouse hot enough so the fan ran most of the day. The snow was cooling off the breeze enough so we didn't open the doors. A good visit with the doctor. I'm standing straight. Now to stay that way for awhile.
The sweet peppers and the second round of impatiens are all transplanted. Sally Jo is working on the hot peppers. We're getting caught up on annuals. Next week we'll start potting up perennials, than tomatoes.
Today we'll put some pansies out. With Monday's hard rains we put a lot out until Tuesday. They are so pretty I don't want Monday's rain and wind beating on them. Annabelle and I are going to plant the church box Tuesday evening. Herbs will go out today. They'll have remay on them to ease the transition from the cozy greenhouse to the out doors.
Just chased the blackbirds again, They fly away for a little bit when I tap on the window. The other birds don't move, They've learned that window tap means a few minutes to eat in peace. Yesterday I saw a few female red winged blackbirds.
Have a good day, Sally
