Darel had a good day yesterday.  He's gained enough strength back so he's thinking he can get in the truck without much help.
Back to just fifteen or so grosbeaks.  The cardinals and chickadees are glad they're gone.  There were 3 gold finches at their feeder.  The birds know spring is coming.  I'm already looking ahead to see when i leave the hose out by just letting it drizzle so it doesn't freeze.  Yesterday was the first day I had to water plants in the greenhouse.  I was glad for the warm sun to warm them up after I watered.  The sun was so strong I even had the exhaust fan running.
But last night I ran the propane heater.  We did a lot of planting yesterday which meant bring in lots of cold water, a hundred plus galleons.  I didn't want any plants to get chilled after chilling them during the day by watering them.  I'm hoping we don't have to bring in water until Friday morning.  We still have some plants left from last week but I think we'll get most of them this morning.  Two more boxes are coming in this afternoon.  I'm almost caught up on planting seed.  Next week it will be time to plant marigolds and peppers.
     Have a good day, Sally
