Darel had a quiet, comfortable day yesterday.
I got my second Johnny's seed order sent in.  The one with onion plants and sweet potato slips on it.  Plus cucumber and summer squash seeds. I ordered mini lettuce seeds.  Small heads of lettuce are ready to harvest quickly and I think people might like the smaller heads.  I think I will. And I worked on my box fill for next week.  I only needed a few things but it took quite awhile to go through the discounted sheets looking for them.   The only order left is my seed order for the store.  I'll probably just get what I lot last year.
We had a lot of grosbeaks yesterday but only the local flock.  And they were only here for awhile i the morning.  I'm going through a lot less sunflower seeds.  I'm very carefully walking on drifts to put out seeds.  That may change next week.  Such huge snow piles all I can see of the greenhouse is the smoke coming out of the chimney.  But no ice on the driveway, easy walking.
Two skunks are in the bans now.  A very large one and a small one that must be one of last years kits.  I can only feed the barn cat when he comes asking for food.  i don't want to be putting out food for skunks.
     Have a good day, Sally
