2/14/19
If you love someone tell them today.  tomorrow is not promised.

Some clouds, a variable breeze and 17 degrees.  A strong west breeze today with some sun, a high of 32 degrees ad a low of 7.  Snow tomorrow morning changing to rain in the afternoon and evening.  1-3 inches of snow forecast before the change to rain with a high of 42.  Tomorrow's SE wind will change to strong SW breezes tomorrow night with a low of 25.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a WNW breeze, a high of 34 and a low of 10.  Sunny Sunday with a NW breeze, a high of 27 and a low of 4.  Pleasant Monday Tuesday and Wednesday with NW breezes, highs about 25, lows of 4 Monday and Tuesday, a low of 10 Wednesday.  Snow showers next Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 26 and a low of 12.  Partly cloudy Friday with a NW breeze, a high of 33 and a low of 13.  Snow showers are forecast for every day the next week with highs in the thirties and lows in the teens.
Darel was very quiet yesterday with low pulse but he was comfortable.  Like me he was glad the strong winds with the storm were short lived  Even so there was enough wind to put the 10-12 inches of snow into piles.  The snow didn't do anything to help walking around.  Snow on the ice just made thing slipper if possible.
Six different scented geraniums are all slipped and cut back  As well as a peppermint and oregano plant.  I will have lots of choices for people who like to put fragrant plants around their door or picnic table to confuse/repel bugs.  i slipped the peppermint awhile ago and tried just rooting the slips in water without much success.  Maybe the window sill was too cold.  This time I put the slips in soil so I can be sure of some wooded cuttings.
I have a doctor''s appointment this morning,  Valentine's Day so I will be making sweet rolls when I get home.  both JR and Andrew will be here this afternoon cleaning snow away from the greenhouses.  JR is going to put up new stovepipe for the big stove in the greenhouse.
      Happy Valentines's Day.
