Darel had a quiet, comfortable day yesterday.  The bright sun and pellet stove made it seem like summer in the front room.  It sure wasn't summer outside, sunny yes.  But with wind ad cold.  It was ok in the greenhouse.
Andrew reinsulated the peak at the end of the greenhouse where the wind  rocking  the greenhouse over the past year had knocked it out.  The temperature climbed a few degrees right away.  Andrew bought the hose reel and extra hose inside so it would be warm and pliable when we run water.  Both of us did some other odds and ends.  Some more things need to be moved to the garage and some supplies in the garage need to be moved to the greenhouse.  Pots and trays need to be put together but we'll do that after the fires are started, why we are waiting for the bales of soil to thaw.
A second red squirrel showed up.  I ordered a live trap for little rodents.  I didn't want to put my spikes on to take the garbage out to the dumpster so i set the bag in the garage.  I found it torn open yesterday morning.  I watch the red squirrel run up the side of the house and go in the garage through the eves.  I just didn't think about it getting into it.  I am so thankful Keith cleaned the two dozen or so we had last fall out why he was here.
       Have a good day, Sally
