6/9/16

A positive attitude is contagious but don't wait to catch it from others, be a carrier.

46 degrees, windy with some clouds.  Clouds today with a WNW wind, a high of 49 and a low of 45 tonight.  Cloudy tomorrow with  a NWN breeze, a high of 66 and a low of 47.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a WSW breeze, a high of 71 and a low of 52.  The rain forecast has gone from rain Sunday and Monday to rain Sunday, now it is 50% showers, possibly lasting into Tuesday morning.  WNW winds are forecast for Sunday and Monday with stiff WNW breezes through Thursday.  Sunday's high will be 62, the low 48.  Monday's high will be 62, the low 48.  Tuesday we'll see a high of 69 with a lows of 50.  Partly cloudy Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with highs about 74 and lows about 52.  Partly cloudy next weekend, still west and NW breezes, with highs in the upper seventies and lows in the mid fifties. Sunny Monday, the 20th with scattered thundershowers the rest of the week.  Highs will be in the low eighties with lows in the upper fifties.
The wet forecast for the last two weeks in June keeps getting dryer and dryer.  Maybe there will be some hay made in June!  Doug is looking at a new to him mower now.  Just like the one he has only used very little.
No black flies today.  Gilbert has his ag fabric on hoops making nice tunnels for his plants.  Now he having trouble with the wind blowing the fabric off.  Mine is just loosely laid over the plants with dirt on either side.  So far it is still there.  I think I'll go put some more dirt on it, the wind is whipping it.  the chicks have been roosting on the roosts.  They decided to spend last night in the warm brooder.  We won't be setting out any plants today but that is ok.  It is a beautiful day for weeding and we have lots of them!
       Have a good day, Sally
