Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God. 1 John 4:7

51 degrees, light rain and thunder.  Rain today with a west breeze, a high of 55 and a low of 38 tonight.  A west wind tomorrow with PM showers, a high of 49 and a low of 38.  A stiff WNW breeze Tuesday with clouds, a high of 60 and a low of 38.  Partly cloudy Wednesday and Thursday with lots of black flies due to light west breezes.  Highs about 68 and lows of 44.  Sunny Friday, a NWN breeze with a high of 73 and a low of 49.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a west breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 51.  Sunny next Sunday with a NW breeze, a high of 76 and a low of 50.  Sunny next Monday with a WSW breeze, a high of 77 and a low of 50.  Partly cloudy next Tuesday and Wednesday with WSW breezes, highs about 76 and lows about 52.  Showers the next few days with temperatures about the same.  Pleasant Saturday, the 28th and Sunday, the 29th, with SW breezes, highs of 73 and lows about 51.
Very busy day yesterday with lots of customers.  I sold several hummingbird feeders, everyone seems to be seeing humming birds but me.  I did see a rose breasted grosbeak drinking from the kitchen garden pond.  He was only a day or so later than his average return.   I'm wondering if he will still nest in the old apple tree where Gilbert pruned it.
gilbert planted another row of beets yesterday.  We got a lot of mulching done.  We found a few spears of asparagus peeking through when we weeded the asparagus bed.  Many people have asparagus already, Gilbert's and mine are just starting.  I think the constant wind keeps our soil cooler.
No watering outside today, it is pouring now.   The greenhouse will need a good soaking when I get home from church.  It was too hot to work in the greenhouse yesterday.
The next few days will be pleasant in there so we'll finish transplanting flowers.  Yesterday Rachael put the scented geraniums I had started in the house in a cold frame to harden off.
Lights are flickering, someone is getting more of a storm than we are.  We are often on the edge of the storms, they go around our hill.
      Have a good day, Sally
