9/1/26  Don't knock the weather: nine-tenths of the people couldn't start a conversation if it didn't change once in a while.

Farmer's Almanac winter forecast; mild and dry for us, cold and snow for central New England. This morning's low, 49.  Sunshine and 52 now.  Sunshine all day, a light NE breeze, high 76, low 51.  Mostly cloudy tomorrow, a SE breeze, high 75, low 55.  Rsin Thursday, a stiff SE breeze, high 65, low 58. Yesterday the forecast was for an inch of rain, today it is for a half inch. Showers Friday and Saturday.  A NW breeze Friday, high 75, low 57.   A strong north breeze Saturday, high 68, low 52.  Partly cloudy Sunday, a stiff north breeze, high 72, low 49.  Sunshine Monday, a NW breeze, high 77, low 53.  Partly Cloudy next Tuesday through Tuesday the 15th.  NW breezes, highs in the upper to mid seventies, lows 47 next Tuesday, low fifties the rest of the period.

The ber months are here, summer is fading away.  My immune disease is slowly losing its hold on me, good days out number the bad days about two to one.  We are getting by without Gilbert, not well but moving on, one step, one day at a time.  Rachael and Evan are home owners.  Both Rachael's Evan and Tiffany's Evan have new jobs, jobs that they wanted.  Darel has fully healed from his fall off the ladder.  Andrew is healed enough to enjoy life even though he can't work much and is on disability. Regina is trying to learn to live without John as she waits for their grandbaby's birth. Michigan seems as far away to me as Alaska. The great grandchildren are growing up and doing well.
Yesterday Bekah checked the trailer load of hay to see how wet it had gotten.  She did it the old way by dusting it with flour and the new way, with a moisture meter.  Both ways said to take back to the field, cut open the bales and spread them out to dry.  Hopefully yesterday's still breeze and sun dried the hay so it can be rebaled this afternoon.  It is beautiful second cutting.
Today is make butter day,  The forecast says we'll be doing more watering but for a few days only containers need watering. Even while haying Bekah and Jay continue working on spring orders. Yesterday a lady called to see if we were ordering red mulberry trees.  Bekah is.
May your day be blessed, Sally
