The rain is interfering with people's holiday plans but we are thankful for it.  The plants Bekah has put out on the display benches are enjoying it,  she is happy not to be watering them.  Last night she watered everything left in the greenhouses.  Looking at the weather we know today is our only break from watering.  I'll keep trying to get  the flower boxes and gardens around the house planted.  Flowers for us to enjoy and Bekah to not have to water.
Jay and Bekah have help coming tomorrow to lay the black plastic for the squash and cucumbers.  They want to trap in the moisture before it has a chance to evaporate.  Soaker hoses will be planted with the cucumbers.  Soaker hoses will go in the rows of other vegetables that will be mulched with straw.
This morning our neglected house will get some TLC.  This afternoon I'm celebrating big Andrew's birthday with his family.
May your day be blessed, Sally
