Yesterday was a lovely day weatherwise and we got a lot done. The loop is late because I was tired and slept until six-thirty. I'm working in so many different flower beds I'm not getting any done. Today I should get two finished so I can check them off the list. The local mill no longer sells mulch and we haven't found a place to buy more. We are being frugal with what we have left which slows me down.
Bekah watched me feed the hummingbirds this morning, they were flying all around my head. She said they must recognize me. She has filled the window feeder a few times and they all fly up in the tree or over in the bushes. I have to bring the oriole feeder in and clean it nearly every time I fill it because the grape jelly is messy. I wash the humming bird feeders every few days. I filled the sunflower seed feeders, it's been about four days since I filled them.
The nursery has been open Sundays and Mondays during May. This Sunday is the last Sunday we will be open. Monday is June first, the nursery will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays through October.. Hours are nine to five-thirty weekdays, nine to four Saturdays.
May your day be blessed, Sally
