5/26/26  Live in each season ; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of the earth. -- Henry David Thoreau

Sunshine, 57 degrees.  A NE breeze will become a brisk west breeze with a high of 81.  Some clouds this afternoon and overnight, low 61.  Partly cloudy tomorrow, a strong NW breeze, high 76. low 49.  Cloudy Thursday, a strong north breeze, high 56. low 42. Mostly cloudy Friday, a NEN breeze, high 59, low 42.  50% chance of showers Saturday and Saturday night. a strong NE breeze, high 54, low 39.  Mostly cloudy Sunday, a brisk north breeze, high 64, low 43.  Partly cloudy Monday, north breeze, high 64, low 45.  Partly cloudy next Tuesday, a NW breeze, high 69, low 49.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday through June 9th, WNW breezes, highs in the mid to upper seventies, lows about 54.   We got a nice rain, an inch and a quarter.  Saturday's forecast of showers wasn't in yesterday's forecast but more moisture is good.

A beautiful day.  Unfortunately the forecast says we better wait until next week to set out warm loving plants like tomatoes.  Up here on the hill we won't get frost but whenever the low is forecast to be in the thirties, even 39, some one seems to get frost.
There has been a steady line of customers, many plants, shrubs and fruit trees left.  But I'm looking out the window at display benches full of beautiful flowers.  Bekah says she finally started enough peppers so she didn't run out Memorial weekend. There are even hanging baskets left.  And geraniums.
Our bees came last  night.  We are renting a hive for pollination.  We have lots of bumblebees but it takes a lot of bees to pollinate our cucumbers and other vegetables.  We've lost our bees the last few winters.
May your day be blessed, Sally
