A good day yesterday.  Fun but very busy between a steady line of customers and unloading the truck. So many beautiful plants, many of them have already left.  The oriole visited the feeders.    A few more hummingbirds came, no females yet.  The rose-breasted grosbeak came back.  He sat on the edge of the feeder and ate instead of just lying in it and eating.  By afternoon we couldn't tell which one had been weak in the morning.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day.  Jay and Bekah will be open all day, not just in the afternoon after church.  They are expecting today to be very busy, they'll have extra help.  Bekah is out building fence around the orchard.  Mabel ate all the rye cover crop in the garden.  .  Yesterday Mabel got into the horse barn.  The wind must have sucked the door open and then closed it because the door was closed.  She got into the baby chick feed.  There wasn't much, just what wouldn't fit in the feeders.  I was going after feed Monday.  Now I'm going this morning.
May your day be blessed, Sally
