Yesterday was a beautiful fall day. Flowers that escaped the frost soaked up the sun. For a lot of gardens it was the end of the season. Nuthatches have returned to the birdfeeders. Some trees have lost their leaves, many are hanging on. I could have left the baskets of purple waves on the barn but they were shivering in the cold breezes and the hose I was watering them with sprung too many leaks to use.
Today will be another nice day for getting ready for winter. More forecasters are forecasting a cold one. May your day be blessed, Sally
