1/10/25Do you focus on life's positive or negative?  Whichever you focus on becomes your personality.

Partly cloudy, calm, 22 degrees.  Partly cloudy today with a NW wind, a high of 33.  Clear tonight with a NW breeze, a low of 20.  Snow showers tomorrow afternoon into late evening totaling an inch?  A north breeze with a high of 28, a low of 23.  Sunshine Sunday with a NNW breeze, a high of 34, a low of 17.  Cloudy Monday and Tuesday with light NW breezes, highs of 30, lows of 18.  Cloudy Wednesday with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 27, a low of 10.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a NW breeze, a high of 23, a low of 5.  Partly cloudy next Friday with a WNW breeze, a high of 27, a low of 10.  Mostly cloudy next weekend with brisk WSW breezes, highs about 35.  Saturday's low 27, Sunday's 17.  Partly cloudy Monday the 25th with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 25, a low of 9.  Partly cloudy the rest of the work week with brisk NW breezes, highs about 19, lows in the low single numbers.

Yesterday was a quiet day.   Very cold and windy outside, a bit chilly in the house even with all stoves on high.  The temperature did moderate a little, the high was 24. Strong winds meant fewer birds.  Most of the ones that came flew into the Christmas trees.  The little birds would fly out for a seed and fly back into the tree to eat it.  We made sure to run the water enough so it didn't freeze up again.  While I'm feeling bad for the plants, others are saying there will be less ticks next summer.  Doug rolled out two large round bales of hay down in the cedars for the cows to lay on out of the wind.
Everyone seems to be over the flu this morning.  Maegin went to work.  Bekah and I will get back to spring cleaning.  Once the greenhouse fires start there is hardly time for regular cleaning, let alone spring cleaning. It may be warm enough in the new greenhouse to  work in there. In a few weeks it will be time to plant some seeds.
May your day be blessed, Sally
