When I turned on the fauset at three-thirty only an occasional drop of water came out. I waited a bit to see if it was enough to free the ice but it didn't. i had to get Jay up to go down cellar with the hair dryer. I was able to tell him where it was frozen, he was able to thaw it with the dryer. I put a load of wash in, today we will make sure to run water often. Probably should put the electric heater in that corner. Last night wasn't as cold as it has been but the constant NW wind is chilling the house down. There is no snow for insulation. Yesterday's high was the 14 I posted in the morning.
A short lived stomach bug is going through everyone. The adults seem to be about 12 hours, it seems to knock the kids out for a couple of days. I didn't feel good Tuesday, I hope that was the extent of my involvement.
The box of Johnny's seeds came yesterday. Bekah has bought seeds in bulk to resell in the store. Johnny's used to have a retail program that we participated in. Since johnny's discontinued the program people keep asking for Johnny's seeds. The new scale for weighing the seeds came yesterday also. There is a lot involved in getting set up to buy seeds in bulk and resell them. Bekah will try it this year and see how it works out.
As I watch the news I am thankful we live in Maine. No fires, I'm not living in a tent this winter and if we have snow and ice we are able to stay comfortable. May your day be blessed, Sally
