The five foot tree found a home with a family that had only been able to get a 1 foot tree from the dollar store. Bekah sent the tree stand with it. The neighbor who picked up the tree added lights and decorations when she delivered it. A nice end to the Christmas season for Country Junction. Country Junction will go on the back burner until Thursday. Thursday Bekah and Jay will get back to preparing for Spring 2025.
Yesterday morning was spent preparing for Christmas . Large families make a wonderful Christmas. A large family also means being very creative with gift giving and celebrations. Lots of Love makes the efforts special.. Doug's family Christmas was in the afternoon. A fun time with lots of visiting. I wrapped more presents when I got home.
I am watching church online today. I am doing so much better it is tempting not to heed the doctor's warning. She said, "Trying to do that one more thing might be what throws you into a relapse. Remember you are not cured, it is just in remission" I have felt well enough to want to ignore her warning but I think I'd better make this a day of rest.
May your day be Blessed, Sally
*Love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this, "Love your Neighbor as yourself." There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12: 30 and 31.
