Yesterday was a good day for me. I started the day with church. When I came home I cleaned the ashes and coals out of the cook range so it would cool enough to clean the chimney in the afternoon. Then I went to Dover to visit a friend over lunch. After a very pleasant visit I came home to clean out the bottom of the stove. When I got home Andrew and Jay had cleaned the chimney. AND Bekah and Jay had finished cleaning the stove. Bekah was just wiping down the dust on the stove and Jay was vacuuming. It didn't bother me at all not to have to get down on the floor and clean out the bottom of the stove. I've put my back out a couple of times doing it. I spent the afternoon forwarding pictures Kevin had sent me of family and new great grandbabies in Alaska. In the evening I enjoyed a phone visit with my son Keith. I called him to wish him a Happy Birthday. I'll be taking care of potatoes and carrots today so we don't have to worry about them freezing in the garage.
May your day be blessed, Sally
