I cleaned and put away the hummingbird feeders.  Usually I just leave one feeder out for the odd hummingbird that is migrating late but didn't get to it this year.  They were much harder to clean.  I also cleaned the bird feeders and put them all out.  Last night I had a cardinal on the platform feeder.  The finches enjoyed the ease of the platform feeder too.  Last spring raccoons demolished the ban feeder the cardinals liked.  I watered the kitchen garden perennials and put the hose away.
When the wind blew and the sun went behind the clouds Bekah came in and worked on plant odors.  Otherwise she and Jay were checking things off the list, getting ready for winter.   The chickens are protected from the cold now.
Church this morning.  This afternoon I'll pick up the front yard hoses and shut the water off.  May your Sunday be blessed, Sally
