You can always, always give something, even if it is only kindness!Anne FrankPartly cloudy, calm, 44 degrees.  Some sun today with an ENE breeze, a high of 63.  Clouds move in tonight with a low of 49.   Cloudy Wednesday with an ESE breeze, a high of 65, a low of 52.  Rain moves in after midnight.  Rain Thursday and Thursday night with SSE breezes, a high of 59, a low of 54.  Perhaps a leftover shower Friday morning with a NNE breeze, a high of 65, a low of 51.Partly cloudy Saturday with a NNE breeze, a high of 67, a low of 47.  Sunshine Sunday with a light north breeze, a high of 71, a low of 48.    Partly cloudy Monday with a NNE breeze, a high of 74, a low of 48. Partly cloudy next Tuesday with an east breeze, a high of 69, a low of 50.  Showers next Wednesday and Thursday with a NNW breezes, highs of63, lows of 46.  Perhaps a morning shower Friday the 4th with a NNW breeze, a high of 65, a  low of 46.  NW breezes the weekend of the 5th and 6th with NW breezes, highs of 66, lows of 45.

     Signs of fall.  House plants are moving back inside.  Fresh seed is in the bird feeders, chickadees and finches are coming  to the feeders.  And the wood cook range is in use.  Gilbert turned off the electric water. heater yesterday.  I scrubbed summer's dust and some rust off the range.  Now its shiny black presence is the center of our kitchen again.  The house is warm, it is heating our water and it cooked chilli for supper last night.   The winter squashes are finally ripe.  Tonight it can cook one for us.  Doug made sure there would be plenty of wood to feed it by having Bekah move some woof from his pile into our pile.   He knows I love my wood cook range!
