Things are quiet here.  But busy as everyone gets ready for winter.  With getting the new greenhouse overwhelming    seems more like it.
Early this summer our bees left. Other beekeepers have had the same thing happen.  No one seems to know why. Jay and Bekah were haying and didn't realize it quick enough to take the honey.  So the bees took the honey with them.  They moved the hive, it was in the way of the new greenhouse.  The first of this month Jay noticed bees around the hive.  Now it is a large busy hive.  The bee keeper said to feed them.  During the warm weather they ate very little.  Now that it is colder they are guzzling the food we offer.  They still bring in lots of pollen.  Even though they aren't far from the garden pond Jay has fresh water at the hive.  It is very dry here, we are thankful for the rain in the forecast.
May your day be blessed, Sally
