8/4/24  “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20

Another hot muggy day, not as hot as the day before but hot enough to be careful. Showers kept getting postponed until they didn't exist.  Mostly we mowed lawns and did yard work. I weeded another flower box to plant.  Only a couple months late.  We don't have any picnics planned but the outside eating area is now ready if we do.  Bekah mowed with the tractor, a first for her.  She did fine.  Jay and Maegin used the push mowers and weed whacker.
Jay has been picking sweet corn every day.  When he picked yesterday he didn't think about today being Sunday.  He should have picked for two days,  The Amish do no business on Sunday.  Jay and Bekah got the green beans all picked.  We didn't have enough extra to trade for the corn.  I picked the blueberries.  I didn't even get a quart. They are about done.
Church this morning, I'm not sure what the day will bring.  May God bless you, Sally
