Yesterday was a dreary day, sometimes a light mist, sometimes a heavier mist.  It didn't seem like we got a lot accomplished.  There are lots of hummingbirds in the flowers but they are only coming to two of the feeders and they aren't coming to them very often.  I'm going to wash the other feeders and put them away.  Hummingbirds head south shortly after Labor Day.
Bible study was here in the morning.  Heavier mist was in the afternoon so Bekah worked on spring orders.  In the evening Bekah and I put the old hens in with last year's pullets.  I had culled out the ones that weren't laying at all.  Now the room they were in will be cleaned and disinfected with new bedding and new hay in the nest boxes.  Then this year's chicks will go in there.  They should start laying soon.
Annabelle and I are getting haircuts this morning.  I don't have my truck back yet so I'm borrowing Doug's.  Sister Lynne is not only coming for lunch, she is bringing it.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
