7/11/24  Silence and a smile are two very powerful tools.

  1.39 inch of rain.  Dark clouds now, 68 degrees.  Rain showers this morning, thunderstorms this afternoon, rain ending this evening.  Today's high, 76 with a SE breeze.  Tonight's low, 68 with fog.  Possible afternoon showers with a SW breeze tomorrow.  A high of 85, a low of 68.  Scattered thunderstorms Saturday with a SW breeze, a high of 83, a low of 65.  Sunshine Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 89, a low of 66.  Partly cloudy Monday with a SW breeze, a high of 89, a low of 67.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 88, a low of 68.  Scattered  thunderstorms Wednesday with a SW breeze, a high of 85, a low of 64.  Partly cloudy next Thursday and Friday with WNW breezes, highs about 80, lows about 60.  Sunshine next Saturday with  WNW breeze, a high of 85, a low of 62.  Partly cloudy the week of the 21st with SW breezes, highs in the mid eighties, lows about 63.

     Beryl's remnants arrived and ;eft right at the time the forecasters said.    We got none of the damage other places got.  We have been warned that Beryl rains may have been carrying late blight spores she picked up in Western New York.  The vegetables were harvested, washed and in the stand.  The hay was put away.  With everything so wet the fledglings are glad for the easy food from the feeders.  No one did very much once the rain started.  It has been a busy week.

    Today is cool enough to work outside between showers.  There is plenty to do inside.  It is a good day to make more pickles.  May God bless your day, Sally
