Jay or Bekah were very busy helping customers Sunday and yesterday even though they were closed!  They have been open seven days a week in May  Even though there were signs up all of May people didn't expect the nursery to be closed.  They just called it the transition days and waited on customers so everyone could get their gardens planted.   Everyone but Jay, he didn't get much planting done!
Bekah straightened out the horse barn and cleaned out the puult's section yesterday.  I went to Perka for shaving and feed.  When I got feed last time I didn't figure enough for the extra chicks we got.
Late afternoon I heard from my doctor. She had gotten the rest of the lab reports. She wanted me to try to get my iron levels up without a transfusion.  I went to Bangor and got liquid iron because it is gentler and absorbed faster.  Jay and Bekah were short a hose when they tried setting up the automatic watering for the mums.  I was able to get a hose too.  For running water lines we prefer Sam's heavy duty 3/4 inch hose.  Those hoses are rough on the back and shoulders if used for hand watering but they are just what is needed to carry water where it is needed.  They have gone to the collapsible hose for hand watering because they are so much lighter.  Even though they don't hold up as well.
May your day be blessed.  Sally
