Yesterday was not a hay day.  Too cloudy and cool.  The cool breeze wasn't able to dry the hay enough  to bale square bales to go into the barn.  Doug made round bales and wrapped them for his cows.  Bekah was glad I told her to take a sweatshirt when she left to rake.  She wished I'd said to wear long pants too.  As soon as the clouds covered the sun it was chilly.
Jay watered all day.  Watering is going to be a challenge the next three days, he wanted to get a headstart on it.  I'm going to be watering in just a few minutes.  The hanging petunias may need to be watered twice a day.  When I water them so much I fertilize them too.  The hummingbirds haven't been coming to the feeder much but past hot days have shown me they come often on hot days.  I washed the feeders and filled them halfway.  I don't fill them why it is hot because I don't want to chance the food fermenting.  I'll rinse the feeders and put fresh sugar water in every other day..
May God bless you on this day, Sally
