Yesterday was a good day for hay, the sun is shining now.   Too bad we got that mist this morning.  Cucumbers sold as fast as Jay could pick them.  It was a warm night, hopefully more grew large enough during the night  Both Jay and Gilbert sprayed for cucumber beetles last night.  Even though the spray is organic it will kill bees too so they wait to spray until the bees go to bed. They keep plants covered with remay as long as possible to keep the beetles off them.  So far they haven't had to spray the potatoes, they've kept the potato beetles under control by handpicking.
The chickens love it when they dump the jar of beetles in front of them.
I watered my hanging plants early, and went to Dover for bloodwork.  From Dover I went to the bank in Corinth, then to Bangor.  I got another bottle of liquid iron at the Natural Living Center.  The drug store carries liquid iron but when I read the label of ingredients I decided I had enough problems without adding those chemicals.  The iron is helping, the lab work will tell how much.
I got everything on my list at Sam's.  It was all loaded in the truck but the package containing 40 rolls of toilet paper.  Why I was thinking about the easiest way to get it in the truck. A man picked it up and said, "Where would you like this?"  There are lots of kind, thoughtful people in this world!.
May God bless your day, Sally
