Cloudy, calm. 44 degrees.  Sun and clouds today with an east breeze, a high of 64.  A slight chance of a shower tonight with a SW breeze, a low of 42. Rain tomorrow with a SSE breeze, a high of 55, a low of 42. Cloudy Friday and Saturday with NE breezes, highs of 62 lows about 41. Showers late Sunday into Monday morning..  A strong south breeze Sunday with a high of 57, a low of 42.  A strong west breeze Monday with a high of 70, a low of 45. Afternoon Sun.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a strong NW breeze, a high of 69, a low of 46.  PM showers next Wednesday with a brisk WSW breeze, a high of 66, a low of 46.  Showers next Thursday with a stiff ESE breeze, a hgh of 60, a low of 44.  Some showers Friday the 10th and Mother's Day weekend with stiff NNW breezes, highs about 61, lows about 42.  Cloudy Monday the 13th with brisk NW breezes, highs of 64, lows of 42.  Showers Tuesday the 14th and Wednesday the 15th with brisk NW breezes, highs of 64, lows of 42 and 45.

    The large nursery order from Prides  Corner farm came right on schedule yesterday.  The plants were beautiful. By the time it was unloaded and the plants watered and put in place it was evening and everyone was tired.  Why they were waiting for the delivery they uncovered the perennials they had carried over the winter.  They seemed to have wintered over well.  Bekah and Jay are very happy with the inventory they have to offer customers. The display area is a very pleasant place to be even if you aren't looking to buy any plants.

     Strawberries come today.  They will be busy planting ours and heeling the plants for sale into trays for customers. No word on the fruit trees yet.

     Everyone liked the fence Maegin stained white so much they decided to paint all the fence..  I made an early trip to the hardware store to get two more gallons.  They plan to paint the buildings too.  They'll be painting all summer!  There is too much planting going on now to get much painting done!
