Yesterday was a pleasant day, a lovely breeze with lots of sunshine.   At church a lady showed me a picture of a strange plant growing by her deck.  I thought it looked like giant hogweed.  When I came home I looked it up and I'm quite certain it is.  A rare but toxic and invasive plant.  I didn't have her number but was able to get it after some phone calls.  I was able to call and tell her not to touch it.  If a person suspects they have one growing they are supposed to call the Extension service.  We'll call this morning.
By the time I got off the phone Bekah and Jay were here filling the coolers.  Thanks to the breeze Bekah had to water.  Later in the day Jay had to  refill some of the coolers.  I picked blueberries. Why was I picking blueberry smoke moved in.  I googled the Canadian wildfire smoke map and yes, it was Canadian smoke.  The brisk south breeze had switched to a brisk NW breeze. Thankfully it was blown elsewhere in the evening..     Not good for someone else.  And so bad for the Canadians.  It was much worse northwest of here.  A SSE breeze today and tonight so we are good.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
