8/2/23  Take care of your character in the home.  What we are there is what we really are.

  A light SW breeze, sunshine, 54 degrees.  Some clouds today, a WNW breeze, a high of 76.  Clear tonight, a light WSW breeze, a low of 51.  The little watermelons and cantaloupe will shiver!  Clouds Thursday with a strong south breeze, a high of 78, a low of 63.  Thunderstorms Friday with a strong south breeze, a high of 70, a low of 63.  Perhaps some morning showers Saturday with a WNW breeze, a high of 78, a low of 58.  Sunshine Sunday with a brisk WNW breeze, a high of 81, a low of 59.  Perhaps some showers Monday afternoon with a SSW breeze, a high of 80, a low of 65.  Scattered thunderstorms next Tuesday with a brisk ESE breeze, a high of 71, a low of 60. Partly cloudy next Wednesday and Thursday, highs of 79, lows of 59.  Westerly breezes. Possible showers Friday the 11th, through the weekend and Monday with SSW breezes. hghs in the upper seventies, lows about 63.  Scattered thunderstorms the 15th and 16th with highs of 83, lows of 64.

    A long day yesterday.  PT at nine and then to an estate sale my sister found where I got lots of things for Maegan's kitchen at a good price.  Then to Dover for tractor diesel and electric fence gate handles at Tractor Supply.  They didn't have any gate handles, and told me they were a seasonal item, I probably wouldn't find them anywhere else.  I came home and ordered them on Amazon, they will be here Monday.  By then we had heard from Maegan, yes she did want the microwave and high chair so i went after that.

    Yesterday was Violet's birthday.  In the evening family gathered together to remember her.  They decorated biodegradable balloons and let them go.  A quiet evening as we remembered with smiles and stories, and yes some tears .It was a beautiful evening, weather wise and otherwise.  

       Except that the house got warm because the girls were cooking supper so they opened the doors.  Every fly on the farm followed the delicious smells and came in.  I swatted flies last night and got up during the night to swat them why they were cold and slow.  I'm still swatting this morning! I have a strong aversion to flies.  I'll be cleaning countertops and vacuuming up dead bodies.  If there are any fly traps left in the vegetable stand store I will set out a trap.  I didn't realize there were so many around.  Fly traps are a seasonal item!

    A beautiful day for weeding.  My computer always tries to change weeding to wedding.  May God bless you, Sally
