Yesterday was a pleasant day.  When I got home from church Jay was picking cucumbers.  There are lots of cucumbers and beet greens in the stand now. As Jay harvests beet greens he plants beet seed for fall beets. Today he is going to check for potatoes and onions. I planted beets and carrots in one of my raised beds.  We have seed potatoes left, today I'm going to plant seed potatoes in another bed.  Planting this late I won't have to deal with potato bugs.  In the afternoon I finished the sunflower patch.  So glad to check that off my list!  Bekah watered and did some bush hogging for a neighbor.  His bush hog but his allergies act up so when he uses it he asks Bekah to do it for him.
Vacation Bible School starts today.  Darel is taking the children, I'm picking them up.  I'll pick up some calk why I'm in Corinth.  The shower needs recalked.  This old house always needs some kind of maintenance!
May God bless you on this day, Sally
