 .18 of rain last night.  Clear, calm, and 54 degrees now.  Sunshine today with a brisk NW breeze, a high of tt.  A few clouds tonight with a west breeze, a low of 56.  Scattered thunderstorms tomorrow with a west breeze,  high of 74, a low of 55.  Sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with NW breezes.  Tuesday's high 73, Wednesday's 77.  lows of 53.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a SSW breeze, a high of 79, a low of 62.  Scattered thunderstorms Friday and Saturday with strong SWS breezes, highs about 75, lows about 62.  Partly cloudy next Sunday and Monday with NW breezes, highs about 89, lows about 60.  Partly cloudy next Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 81, a low of 61. Starting Wednesday the 9th for the next five days possible showers every day.  Southery breezes with highs around 80, lows in the low to mid sixties.

       The rain held off until evening giving customers a pleasant day to shop for vegetables and walk around the nursery.  A few customers are doing a major overhaul of their yard, most want a special plant for an empty spot.  By noon the coolers were full of vegetables, by evening they were pretty empty.  Even though it is Sunday Jay will be picking vegetables this morning to fill them back up..  This afternoon they will be going through the garlic, setting aside the biggest and best heads to use for seed for next year's crop.

       Heather will be doing the flower bar at Peace and Waffles again this morning.  Where people make their own bouquet.  There will be some of her bouquets at the stand this afternoon.  People like to pick up a bouquet on their way home from camp.  In between cutting flowers she cut down the few dock plants we have and put them in the dumpster.  Somehow a few grow every year.  We don't want to chance that weed getting started so the plants go in the dumpster rather than the compost pile like other weeds

       After church I will get back to my gardens again.  Yesterday Sally Jo and I defleaed.  Willis got a bath and she took his bed and blanket to the laundromat.  I vacuumed every nook and cranny.  including cleaning the baseboard heaters.  They needed to be cleaned and I didn't want any fleas and dog hair in them.  Now if I would get my desk cleaned off spring cleaning would be done in time for fall!
