7/20/23 It is not the man who has too little, but the man who craves more, that is poor.

Once the fog burned off yesterday was pleasant.  Jay had lots of harvesting to do. Bekah, Darel and Heather went after tall grass and weeds with weed whackers and lawn mowers.  Some wild primrose had gotten so tall Heather used trimmers to cut them down.  When Jay finished harvesting he joined them. He had just mowed the lawns four or five days ago!  Our gardens are also growing well.  We are very fortunate.  Many people have given up and tilled their garden in.  Vegetable plants didn't grow or turned into a slimy mess.  Seeds didn't germinate, crows, ravens, and bugs ate plants.
I visited my bullous phemphigoid doctor yesterday.  She is very pleased at how mild the  breakouts have been.  She told me I was very blessed.  She reminded me that besides blisters fatigue, even extreme fatigue is a main symptom.  I missed being able to leave my donations at the Salvation Army by four minutes.  So I went to Goodwill.  As usual they were very pleasant.  I got home and there was a message on my phone that my tractor part was in.  Another trip to town is in my near future!  I enjoyed a pleasant evening and a good meal at my sister Lynne's.  I do hope that over the next few weeks I can get my flower beds and yard looking as pretty as hers!
Thankful for a few hay days.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
