Haywagons rolled yesterday as a lot of farmers are making hay while  the sun shines.  Some of our hay is going in the barn for the dairy heifers.  Doug is round baling a lot of it for the beef cows.
Jay's friend that was going to grow the melons for us was fortunate to get  a job building a house.  Jay and Bekah decided they have almost enough space so Jay spent yesterday getting the melon beds ready.  The cucumbers are about to blossom.  Jay will take the remay off them so the bees can pollinate the blossoms and use the remay  on the melons.  The forecast isn't the hot sunny weather melons like.  Some plants have loved all the moisture and cool temperatures but a lot of vegetables and flowers are behind compared to other years.  It seems like the lawns need to be mowed every other day!
May God bless you on this day.  Sally
