6/21/23  Communication isn't just about how you talk.  Its about how you listen too.

The sun is shining, it's calm, and 53 degrees.  Sunshine today with a few clouds, a light east breeze, a high of 78.  Clear and 52 degrees for the low tonight.  Sunny tomorrow with a brisk SW breeze, a high of 80, a low of 53.  Sunny Friday with a SSW breeze, a high of 81, a low of 64.  PM thunderstorms Saturday with a brisk SSW breeze, a high of 82, a low of 65.  Scattered thunderstorms Sunday with a SE breeze, a high of 76, a low of 62.  Monday starts a ten day period  that showers or scattered thunderstorms are forecast for every day with easterly breezes. Through the 1st high temperatures will be around seventy, lows about 60.  Sunday the 2ed through Wednesday the 5th highs will be in the mid seventies.  On the 5th the breezes are forecast to come from the NW instead of the east.

Another pleasant day.  Empty the dumpster day.  By the time I took all the stuff I'd left in the garage so the dumpster wouldn't overflow it was overflowing.  They are good, they took everything.  When Jay and Bekah weren't helping customers they were mowing and weeding.  Jay dusted the squash for cucumber beetles.  The cucumbers are protected from the beetles by the remay.  Jay is checking for cucumber blossoms every day.  As soon as there are blossoms he'll be taking the remay off so the bees can pollinate the blossoms.
Doug mowed twenty acres of high ground.  The girls will rake it and he'll round bale it.  Low land fields have water sitting in them.  We are hoping the scattered thunderstorms in the forecast don't contain a lot of rain.
Between PT in the morning and the kid's ball game in the evening I didn't get as much planting done as I had hoped.  Today planting is all that is on my list.  And filling the bird feeders.  I don't ever remember having so many birds at the feeders eating sunflowers seeds and suet in the summer.  There are lots of insect eating birds around, and plenty of food for them.  Bekah says the good bugs are doing well too.  The gardens are full of ladybugs, their eggs and their larvae.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
