5/12/23  If we always choose the easy way we never grow.

Partly cloudy, calm, 50 degrees.  A brisk WSW breeze today with some clouds, perhaps a thunderstorm this afternoon.  Today's high 74, tonight's low 53.

 Windy tomorrow with sunshine, a high of 68, a low of 40.  Windy  sunday, Mother's Day, with some clouds, a high of 68, a low of 40. Cloudy Monday with a lighter west wind, a high of 72, a low of 52.  Possible showers Tuesday with a strong west breeze, a high of 62, a low of 40.  Sunny Wednesday with a NW wind, a high of 57, a low of 37.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 63, a low of 41.  Partly cloudy next Friday with a light SSW wind, a high of 69, a low of 47.  Showers Saturday and Sunday with highs of 65, lows of 47.  A strong SSW breeze Saturday, a strong NW breeze Sunday.  Partly cloudy Monday the 20th with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 68, a low of 45. Highs will be in the low seventies the rest of the week with strong westerly breezes.  lows in the low fifties. Perhaps some showers at the end of the week.

    I went to Bamgor yesterday.  We were out of paper products and low on cat food.  I got paper products and fresh produce but no cat food.  I came home and ordered it online from Sams.  I bought a Ryobi hand grass clipper at Home Depot.  I'm not sure I'll like it as well as the chep on we had that wore out.  It is a lot heavier.  Everyone else thinks it is great.

    Jay filled the garden pond.  A good thing it was a warm day, he got soaked.  It was leaking because Willis, our lab, had messed up the liner when he snuck away for a swim.  We try hard not to let him sneak away, we'll have to try harder.  Jay thinks he fixed it. If it looks good today we'll put the pump in.  Jay also finished planting the potatoes.  Lots of customers made Belah glad when he got back out front to help her help them.  The hot sun kept her busy trying to keep plants watered.  They moved some flowers outside.  With the windy forecast they could only move them to sheltered display benches.

    Farm team ball last night, the breeze died down and the black flies came out.  Jay and Bekah sprayed our kids with bug repellant before they went.  Jay is a coach, he took the repellant with him for the other kids.  We have the natural Melaleuca repellant.  No breeze yet mens the black flies will be after them when they are unloading the nursery order that is supposed to be here at eight.
