The day started out good.  I got a notice a week or so ago that if I didn't use some of the reward points on my Visa card I would lose them. I went to the web site the Credit Union gave me and chose 4 100 dollar Home Depot gift cards.  They came and yesterday I went to Home Depot and bought three raised beds.  Some assembly required but the Andrews are very good to me.  Our neighbors who grow strawberries commercially posted that the berries seemed to be ok.  Covering them with ice protected the blossoms from freezing!
Meanwhile it was chaos here at home.  The Prides Corner Farm delivery came.  A different driver who wasn't interested in hearing how other drivers had parked to unload.  He decided to turn around  using the dirt road behind the house.  He went off the road and took out the street sign totally blocking route 11 until he finally got out.  One magnolia tree was broken up but no damage to other  plants.  By the time I got home the order was unloaded and the nursery stocked with beautiful plants.  The rest of the day was uneventful with watering, planting, and helping customers.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
