I collected invoices from all the shipments last week for Heather. I made copies to put in our order book so next spring we'll know what we got this year. Jay and Bekah were busy selling what we got in. Lots of flowers and vegetables that we raised left too. Lots of people have small greenhouses or porches that they use to protect their plants until it is warm enough to plant them. This is the perfect time to plant fruit trees and shrubs. In a few days the gardens will be dry enough for potatoes, onions and peas. Gilbert has planted his lettuce and cole crops. He didn't harden them off so he covered them with remay ( agriculture fabric).
Sister Donna came down late in the afternoon. Family members stopped by to say hello and show off new babies. She is headed back to New York this morning. I had the video of Rachael's graduation on the computer so we could "attend" her graduation. Four years of college finished in a few steps on the stage. She got some special recognition as a top student so she was on stage a little longer than some. Late in the evening Rachael, Tiffany and Evan, and Gilbert stopped by to tell me all about the day. Rachael's Evan won't come home until today. He worked his way through college and still had another day of work.
A long to do list and lots of customers will make this a busy day. Bekah and I will both transplant some more vegetable seedlings. May God bless you on this day, Sally
