Another busy day at the nursery  The wind was a problem, blowing over plants.  It blew away some of Jay's mulch in the garden, mulch that was wet down so it wouldn't blow!  May is often a challenge watering because of breezes.  This month it has been wind not just a breeze and keeping everything watered is a problem.  So windy the kids didn't want to play outside after school.
I was standing straight after PT yesterday morning but my back was sore.  I was supposed to take it easy, which worked out fine.  Because of the wind our internet was spoty to I sat at the computer making a nursery order when it was working.  Our mum plugs come next week.  Bekah had me add some waves plus and a few other plugs to it.  They will be ready for landscaping late but in time for campers.  We try to have flowers in late June and early July for them. .  The first round of hanging baskets has sold and people are buying the second round.  I was able to add to the mum order over the landline phone.  Late afternoon the internet went out and stayed out so Bekah had to finish the nursery order on her i- phone last night.  Not an easy way to do it.  That order will be here Thursday or Friday.
In the late afternoon Annabelle filled some trays for me and I planted sunflower seeds.  Sunflower seeds are usually planted directly in the ground but these are for in front of the horse barn.  The area used to be a burdock patch.  Even though I've been planting sunflowers there for four or five years, burdock still tries to grow.  I have to put newspapers and mulch around each sunflower as I plant it.  I used seeds from the seed rack in the store.  I am always surprised at how many seeds are in the Livingston seed packets.
With my back better I'm hoping to get lots checked off my list today.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
