Lots of hay was delivered yesterday.  They are going to try to deliver more this week.  The season is getting busy, they would like their customers to have all their hay.
This morning they are glad for no wind and a warmer temperature for running water.  Another week or so before they can leave the hoses out.  Winter doesn't want to leave.  We are hoping the rain and  wet snow storms in the forecast will rot the layer of ice under our snowpack.
I've had fewer birds the last few days but they will probably come back with the rain and snow.  They are eating a lot of suet.  I haven't seen the two redwinged black blackbirds that came in last week.  They looked pretty rough, maybe they didn't get here to the food soon enough.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
