Sunday starts the usual chilly, windy weather we always seem to have around the first day of spring.  Sunday will be partly cloudy with a strong west wind, a high of 33, a low of 19.  A west wind for Monday with some clouds, a high of 40, a low of 19.  Sunny Tuesday with a brisk WNW breeze, a high of 44, a low of 18.  Partly cloudy Wednesday and Thursday with NW breezes and highs of 42.  Wednesday's low 22, Thursday's low 29.  Snow to rain Friday with a brisk ENE breeze, a high of 41, a low of 33.  Snow to rain  next Saturday with a brisk NE breeze, a high of 42, a low of 31.  Rain/snow showers Sunday the 26th with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 42, a low of 30.  Partly cloudy Monday the 27th with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 44, a low of 29.  A brisk NNE breeze Tuesday with rain to snow.  Snow to rain Wednesday The 29th.

    Plans change.  I needed a perm, Amy messaged, "Could i come yesterday afternoon/"  I contacted lil andrew and he could get the kids off the bus so I said yes.  From Amy's I went to Bangor and bought new sneakers.  Like everything else they cost considerably more than the last pair I got.

   Yesterday's shipment of three boxes got here about six, all right side up this time.  Bekah was watching for him so they were carried right inside.  All were in good shape.  She and Jay had spent the day transplanting seedlings started in the house.  Bekah also started some more seeds.  I'm going to start a few today.   After reading some papers on how to succeed  in growing cucumbers and tomatoes in hoop houses we ordered some cucumber and tomato seeds  from Johnny's that are specially bred for growing in hoop houses.  Expensive seeds but Bekah decided that as much work as goes into growing plants in hoop houses we should invest in seeds that will give us the best chance for success.  We will start the tomato seeds right away.
