4/19/22  To make a difference in someone's life you just have to care.

Lots of running around yesterday.  I filled the big propane tank we use on the hoop house.  This week's weather is not at all what we ordered.  It is spring vacation,  Debbie's boys were going to uncover the perennials and get them set up. Not only would the wind make uncovering them difficult, the covering would act like sails, but the plants can't can't suddenly be thrown into such winds and cold temperatures.  We have heard nothing from the nurseries.  I suspect they looked at our weather and have delayed delivery. One nursery is in Mass., one in Conn. so it is only a day trip for delivery. They aren't having good weather either.  Instead of sitting on the display benches our pansies are on the ground under the benches for protection from the wind.  The baskets of hanging pansies are in the vegetable stand.
We are through transplanting tomatoes for now.  We  will transplant some more for those who plant their gardens in June when school gets out.  Lettuce is next.  I'm not sure where we will put it for now.  Usually it goes outside under remay.  Under the benches I guess.
I had an appointment with  my gyn yesterday.  She said my primary care doctor that Northern Lights "let go" would soon be accepting a local clinic offer.  That is good news for my back.  She is an MD and DO.  She will contact me as soon as she is accepting appointments.  My house is happy with today's forecast, it needs my attention.  And the cookie jar is empty.  I was driving in as Lil Andrew was driving out yesterday.  He had set up the big propane tank for me.  He had Annabelle and Ayden with him.  He "warned" me that some had happened to the leftover lemon pie.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
