yesterday was another quiet day. Our shipment didn't come. Jolly Farmer had more boxes to ship out than would fit on the available UPS trucks UPS didn't have another truck available. It is supposed to get here at about eight tonight. Our UPS man told me I didn't have to go out tonight, he would put it in the greenhouse and make sure the doors were shut. It will have already sat in the boxes an extra day, we will unpack and water the plants tonight but that is thoughtful of him.
Maegin cleaned the store and set up the rack of flower seeds. All the seeds are pollinator favorites, mostly annuals, some perennials. The wildflower packets have both in them. To save money some people buy perennials plants from us that are hard to get started and start others from seed. Johnny's no longer sells seeds wholesale. This year we are carrying Livingston Seeds. They are an old New England Company. Kirby has been carrying their seeds for a couple of years and his customers have been very happy with them. The vegetable seeds are here but the rack hasn't come yet. We open April 18th but if someone wants seeds they can stop by any week day before three, except Tuesday, starting tomorrow. If no one is in the greenhouse please come to the house. It would be by chance today because I have a doctor's appointment and the shipment isn't hee.
Yesterday was a tough day for Violet and her parents. She had a full body scan scheduled for 1:30 and could have nothing to eat or drink. It seems they could have scheduled her earlier. This morning she has an ekg at 7:30AM!
May God be with you this day, Sally
