A dusting of snow overnight.  A light mist when I walked to the greenhouse to put wood on the fire,  Some rain drops mixed in when I came back to the house.  Calm, 27 degrees.  A wintery mix this morning, rain this afternoon.  A high of 44 with a brisk south breeze.  Rain ending overnight with a low of 38, WSW breezes.  Rain/snow tomorrow with a SW breeze, a high of 42, a low of 30.  Strong WNW winds Tuesday with sunshine, a high of 34, a low of 15.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a strong SW breeze, a high of 40, a low of 23.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a west breeze. a high of 47, a low of 22. Afternoon showers Friday with a brisk SE breeze, a high of 45, a low of 34.   Showers Saturday with a SW wind,  high of 46, a low of 16. Partly cloudy next Sunday with a west wind, a high of 29, a low of `8.  Partly cloudy next Monday with a WSW wind. a high of 40, a low of 25.  Cloudy next Tuesday with a strong WSW breeze, a high of 39, a low of 24. Stiff WNW breezes the rest of the week of the 15th with some snow showers mixing with rain. highs around 40, lows in the 20s.

       I think I'll stay off the roads this morning.  Except perhaps to drive out to the greenhouse if the driveway gets icy.  I'm listening to bluegrass gospel now, a sermon in every song.

       Jay and Bekah worked in the greenhouse yesterday.Running water, planting, making a path for the propane man to come Wednesday.  Violet had a good time helping them.  She didn't want to leave the home at first, they had to convince her they were coming to the farm.  Then she was all for it.

      I had to cancel a credit card yesterday.  There were five fraudulent translations yesterday and a sixth came in as I was canceling it.  I have no idea how they got my card.  I had to convince the lady I didn't lose it, the card was in my hand.  Nor was Darel using it!  It is  poor timing, several bills go on that card next week.   I hope the new card doesn't get delayed by the postal service.  Last night  I got an email saying that some  company couldn't ship my order because my card wouldn't go through.  Would I please send them the correct credit information?

       This afternoon I plan to get trays ready for seeding in the house and greenhouse.  Marigolds will get seeded in the greenhouse.  They will be on the heat mat because they need to germinate fast so pepper seeds can take their place on the heat mat.  I'll start container tomato seeds for Open Greenhouse Week giveaways and tomatoes for the hoop house.  The rest of the tomatoes don't get started until the peppers come off the heat mat.
