This time of the year whenever Raymond Freeman walked through the door his words were "Spring will come.  it always does"  And he would tell Darel how pretty the germanius were in the upstairs window.
My back said muffins were ok yesterday but the usual Valentine sweet rolls for everyone would be too much.  I am looking forward to my doctor's appointment on Thursday.  I was cherished yesterday.  As usual both Gilbert and Lil Andrew stopped by in the morning to make sure there was plenty of wood inside and the pellet stove full.  I was delighted to hear that Gilbert remembered Valentine's Day and bought Barbie roses!    Andrew stopped again late in the day,   Gilbert came down just before bedtime to make sure the pellet stove was full enough to go the night.  Doug came by at noon with a couple of meatball sandwiches and had lunch with me.  He checked in late in the day too.  Mike came by in the evening with a beautiful rose and visited for a while.
The last of the winter letters went to the post office.  I may still be sending some out if someone calls because they would like one.  Violet has an early appointment this morning to get her numbers checked.  Bekah took some letters to give to her nurses.  Yesterday morning I got the trays ready.  In the afternoon Bekah planted wave petunias and some other seeds.  Violet  was feeding the chemo effects yesterday.  She spent the morning snuggling with Mom.  In the afternoon she got snuggles from Dad why Mom was here.  Usually  she is busy caring for her "babies"  Violet loves her baby dolls!
May God be with you this day, Sally
