Looking out the window yesterday at the sun made it seem like a pleasant day but when you got out it was cold and raw.  Saturday's melting left ice, even in the church parking lot that had been sanded.  Jay made an ash path to the greenhouse for me.  After he struggled to keep his footing when he carried a bale of soil into the house.  The soil needed to come in and warm up for today's seed planting.
It was late when Jay and his dad finished putting up the new stove pipe.  I'll check  the new setup by starting the fire Wednesday.  Starting the fire Wednesday will check out the stove and warm up the greenhouse for the girls to work at setting things up.  Heather wants to redo the Country Junction sign the paperman tore down.  She can sand it Wednesday so it will be ready to paint when we start the fires.
The skunk has dug through the ice and snow so he/she can get out and take a stroll on warm nights.
May God be with you this day, Sally
