A pleasant day yesterday.  Walking out to the barn is ok if done with great care.  It was cold and raw enough so there was no temptation to linger outside.  I started the pellet stove early in the afternoon even though the sun was shining.  The church parking lot had become bare before the snow so it was good walking.
With Bekah's input Cindy made greenhouse posters to put up come April.  Then she went online to see if she could find an easier way to make mailing labels then i've been doing.  Without much success.  If anyone has any suggestions on making and maintaining sheets of mailing labels I'd love to hear them.  Lots of visiting and lots of plans for the 2022 season.  Bekah couldn't stay too long, she had to get home to give Violet her antibiotics.  Violet and Bekah are both glad to be home.  Violet was happy to have Daddy snuggles when Mama came over here.
We'll start the fires Wednesday.  Friday's snow will give some insulation from the cold weather in the forecast.  It is warming up next week, just in time for the first shipment of plugs and cuttings.  Heat mats will keep the tiny seedlings we're starting warm and help seeds germinate.  And run up the electric bill.  Why with inflation at 7-8 % have electric bills gone up 80%?
May God be with you this day, Sally
