Very high pulse on the right side yesterday morning explained why Darel was restless during the early morning hours and up at five thirty. He had a very quiet but comfortable day. Last night the side that had had a high pulse was very low. He slept well and is still sleeping.
We made it through another night. doug lost power but we didn't. the tarp stayed on. the way it is tied on it will take me awhile to get it off this morning to let the sun in. The hose thawed and is still running this morning. The propane heater lit right up and is still running. I don't know what the glitch was the other night causing it to quit.. West breezes are 8- 10 miles per hour with 12-13 mph gusts. After yesterday that seems calm!
It was an uneasy day working in the greenhouse with the winds howling and the greenhouse rocking. Even so we got a lot done, we are right on schedule. Tomorrow we will move out to the hoop house. With the snow in the forecast we'll put the pansies in the hoop house. Snow flakes make spots on the leaves and i don't want to have to cover them. The temperatures are warm enough for them to go out. I plan to plant most of the tomatoes April 5th. The marigolds are all transplanted so there is room on the heat pad for the tomatoes. Right on schedule. As Tamara finished the marigolds i broke the news that i would be planting more. People moving to camp in June will want some. Seeds are here, the packets need to be priced. Johnny's seeds and they cost no more here than if people ordered them fro Johnny's.
Looking forward to a good day, hoping yours is good too. Sally
