Darel got lots of riding in yesterday with a ride to Bangor  with me when I went to the dentist and a ride to Corinth in the afternoon.  I had planned to plant pansies in the church box but the high winds didn't seem right for their first day out.  We got propane and stopped by the Creamery.  It is always warm and friendly there regardless of the weather!
I didn't get much done yesterday but tamarra and JR did.  JR has everything cleaned up and pallets down, ready for the Paris Farmers Union order Monday.  The sales area is all raked up.  The two rows of pallets that have hoops are all raked and broken pallets replaced.  Today we'll put plastic on them so tomorrow the rest of the perennials can get out of the greenhouse.  As he works JR is repairing wind damage.  We had more than our share of wind last winter.
Today he'll replace the ground cover on the sheltered south and east side of the greenhouse.  Tomorrow we'll put cold hardy plants out there.  They will grow slower but they will be healthier than if they stayed in the greenhouse and we need room for tomato plants.
I hope I'm not jinxing my self by saying this, Almost no blackbirds yesterday!  And so far only three this morning.  I do hope they have moved on.
A busy day today as we get ready to move plants tomorrow.  Believing the weatherman that no more nights below thirty degrees.  I don't think up here on the hill we'll even see a frost.  But we'll use remay to shelter plants from the NW winds.
      Have a great day, Sally
