Darel had a good day yesterday, up and around quite a bit.  Looking forward to getting out of the hose tomorrow, rain or not.
Debbie and i found beauty walking to the house yesterday, listening to red winged black birds sing in the top of the chestnut tree.  There is a beautiful sunrise this morning.  Sally Jo happened to looking out the window when a pair of cardinals came to visit.  The resident pair did not welcome them.  After the males puffed up and danced around awhile the strangers flew off.
The hose is out, the greenhouse watered and the soil barrels filled.  It looks like we will be taking the hose back up for a few days Sunday. Winter doesn't want to let go!  The maple people are probably glad to see the season extended.   I will water soon as I get home from church.
The last box of plugs and cutting came yesterday.  I made sure the driver did not lock me in when he left.  The greenhouse will be full when they are planted.  I thought every spot was full but Debbie found a place to hang two more impatient baskets yesterday.  Then it will be time to nip off blooms and do some pruning so all the plants energy goes into growing a strong plant.
      Have a good day, Sally
